Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC), international Information Technology (IT) company and one of the top four IT vendors in the region, unveiled its new Scenic range of professional PCs on October 8, 2002, as part of a global launch. The Scenic systems have been launched worldwide in keeping with FSC’s policy to offer standardized global products to facilitate international customers who act globally and have a central IT organization.

“As a leading international vendor of IT products and services, Fujitsu Siemens Computers fully understands and appreciates the requirements of our global customers, who are looking for cost effective solutions which will facilitate the working of their centralized IT systems,” said Dirk de Waegenire, vice president of International Sales and Marketing, Fujitsu Siemens Computers

“Our global customers are critical to our success and growth as their deployment is across more than one region and hence we have to adopt global policies to ensure that we offer them optimum homogeneous products in addition to uniform and consistent service and support across the world.”

Available in two lines - Business and Premium - the new Scenic systems are professional PCs for all office applications suitable for small and medium sized enterprises as well as large organizations. The Business Line addresses itself to companies that need cost-effective systems with high technical specifications, according to a company press release.

The Premium Line is targeted at customers who opt for higher levels of performance than a standard PC with the objective of minimizing the overall IT costs. While the Business Line can be administered locally, the Premium Line is equipped with software and hardware to administrate the Scenic PCs remote. The thermal management features in the Business Line incorporates a new type of multi-level System Monitoring and Control.

“The Scenic PCs being launched globally belong to a new generation of PCs that demonstrate Fujitsu Siemens leadership in emerging technologies. It is appropriate that in the Middle East, visitors to Gitex 2002 will be among the first to see the new products,” said Jacquie Carson, director Sales and Marketing Gulf Region, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “The exciting new features incorporated in the Scenic PC are guaranteed to make it the corporate workhorse, because of the cutting edge technology that is packed into it.” — (menareport.com)
