New database on reconstruction projects

The studies center for Iraq reconstruction created a special computerized databases regarding the foremost projects which were completed and the ones which will be completed as part of the reconstruction process.


In this context, Dr. Adnan Alazawi, the manager of the center, said that these databases are fed by information gathered form all governmental agencies such as the ministry of housing, the ministry of transpiration and ministry of industry and minerals.


He revealed that the databases include information such as the cost of the projects, schedules, and number of employees. He said that such databases will be beneficial in the planning process for future projects. Alazawi, according to <i>Alkhaleej</i> newspaper, added that the reconstruction projects are numerous and include, for example building bridges and highways, electricity stations, telecommunication exchanges, industrial establishments, and broadcasting equipment.
