Cashswitch Corporation, an e-financial services provider based in the Dubai Internet City, recently launched the first of its e-Services solutions – Online Remittance Service for Money Exchange Houses.
Cashswitch is promoted by the billion-dollar Bahwan Group from the Sultanate of Oman and is partnered with the Emirates Bank Group, Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange and Al Fardhan Exchange. Cashswitch is powered by leading technology companies, Hewlett Packard, Oracle, BEA Systems and Cisco. These services are provided from the world-class infrastructure of the Dubai Internet Center (DIC) e-Hosting Center.
The e-Remittance service available from the company’s website provides an Internet channel for making a remittance from an Exchange House. Initially this easy-to-use and secure portal, makes remittances to India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh very convenient and cost effective. Remittances to other continents will be enabled in the second phase of this project.
Now available to all account holders of the Emirates Bank Group banks – Emirates Bank International, Middle East Bank and meBANK - the service enables them to transfer money directly from their bank account to the Exchange House account for funding their remittance. Cashswitch's interface to the BankNet Power, electronic banking portal ensures a seamless and secure transaction. — (menareport.com)
