The National Bank of Dubai (NBD) has signed up with Emirates Computers (EC) to completely revamp its existing public portal, in addition to introducing a complete range of customer services that will add significant value for clients.

The aim of the project is to enable the portal to reflect the underlying values and goals of the bank. The implementation of the solution, which is currently underway, will provide customers the added option of Internet Banking functionality and its integration with the CRM package.

The proposed solution is built on the advantageous framework concept, which allows high integration, flexibility and scalability demanded by online systems. The integration of the systems with various transaction engines provides NBD with the unique ability to improve customer relationships, reach more prospects as well as attract and retain customers through enhanced customer relationship management functions.

In addition, it provides NBD the freedom of selecting the best transaction platform and strategy to suit its various needs and requirements.

The original website of NBD was launched in 1998 and was subsequently re-launched in 2000, based on the third generation software which does not include any personalization or content management features.

EC is a technology company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
