National Bank of Dubai (NBD) credit card holders can now benefit from a new service that allows them to make international telephone calls to the UAE and 300 other countries while they are travelling, with all charges billed to their credit card statement at the end of the month.
The Bank has teamed up with GlobalTel-Digital to introduce this calling account service, which is a highly cost effective method of making calls while abroad. The calls are charged to month end credit card statements, eliminating the need for carrying cash and allowing for convenient payment over several months if necessary.
This new service will be of particular benefit to business and leisure travellers staying in hotels that traditionally charge as much as five times the published tariff for local and international calls. It will also benefit families, who can use the service for their children if they are travelling or studying abroad.
