Nakheel appoints General Manager of Nakheel Marinas

Nakheel has announced the appointment of Ali Saeed Mohd Bin Thalith as General Manager of Nakheel Marinas. Born in the UAE, Ali Bin Thalith is one of the longest serving members of the Nakheel team, having joined in October 2001 as Project Engineer, Marines Department.  He played a key role in the design of The Palm, Jumeirah and The Palm, Jebel Ali, working alongside the construction management teams in the design of the break waters.  He has also represented Nakheel on the Dubai Maritime City project, working with the development team from concept to construction.  His present role is as Project Manager of the Mina Seyahi expansion.  Ali has represented Nakheel at a number of international conferences on marine management and development.

 

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Ali will assume full responsibility for the project which will include the design, construction, operation and management of all marinas on Nakheel's waterfront projects, including The Palm, The World and Dubai Waterfront.

The appointment is one of a number of announcements that have been made over the past two weeks as Nakheel have restructured its senior management
team in order to enhance customer focus and delivery, and to prepare for the next stage of growth and profitability. Each Nakheel project will now act as an autonomous strategic business unit complete with its own management, budget and team.
