UAE's President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan commenced Saturday a historic visit to the Morocco on invitation by King Mohammed VI. According to WAM, The two-way trade exchange amounted to $125 million during 2005, an impressive rise of 94 per cent compared to 2004 which peaked at $64 million.
The trade balance is in favour of the UAE with its exports to Morocco accounting for $96 million.
Non oil trade between the two sides grew from Dh 216 million in 2001 to Dh 410 million in 2005, according to a statistical report recently published by the UAE's Ministry of Economy.
