Morocco’s crude oil imports up by 63%

Moroccan crude oil imports have increased by 63% in comparison to the same period last year, reaching about US$1.9 billion.

The Moroccan “Office des Changes", which is in charge of the exchange rate flows, attributed this significant increase in Morocco’s imports to the fact that crude oil prices have been generally soaring in the international markets, reaching by the end of this September, to their highest rate in the last five years, for a year’s first nine months.
