Global digital leader LG Electronics has launched a major on-line customer

service offering - Global Cyber Service Centre. The new service provides

buyers of its premium-brand brown, white and multi-media goods with a

guaranteed 24-hour response to complaints.

LG customers across the Middle East can access the GCSC by logging on to

www.lgservice.com to file on-line complaints, get information on LG service

policies, and to find out where the nearest repair stations are located.

"Complaints will be automatically directed to the person in-charge who will

respond within 24 hours," Mr Y.R. Roh, Managing Director, LG Electronics

Middle East, told albawaba.com.

The GCSC launch is aimed at positioning the company as the leader of

e-business service in the Middle East and Africa.

"This is yet another step forward in LG's strategy of being the world's

digital leader," Roh added.

Since its establishment in 1958 as Korea's pioneer consumer electronics

company, LG Electronics (LGE) has expanded worldwide, and boasts 35,000

employees in over 120 countries.

LG has been heavily involved in the Mid-East business scene in recent years.

Active in the Iranian electronics and multi-media market for more than 15

years and now the Republic's brand leader, the electronics giant will be the

main sponsor of the LG Cup 2000 four nations international football

tournament to be held in Iran between June 7-9, 2000. - albawaba.com
