Manufacturers of toys and related products from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain and Thailand will join regional exhibitors at the Middle East Toy Fair 2003 to be held at the Dubai World Trade Center, May 17-19, 2003.

Besides showcasing products from the world's leading players in the toy market, the fair will host the toy expert, Dr. Stevanne Auerbach. One of the major challenges faced by the toy industry is to understand the minds of the target customer, considering the diverse interests characteristic of kids today.

The children of this generation have been described as tech-savvy and educated; multicultural; bombarded by media messages; growing up in an affluent society and with big spending power.

With 30 years of direct experience in toys and children's products, Auerbach has written three books on toys as well as dozens of articles about play and toys for newspapers and magazines.

Organized by Epoc Messe Frankfurt, the Midde East Toy Fair, will coincide with Autotec - Automechanika Gulf-the Middle East's Leading Automotive Aftermarket Event, Hardware & Tools, and Housewares & Hometech all to be held from May 17-20, 2003. — (menareport.com)
