Amusement park owners in the Middle East have increased their efforts to attract Arab tourists to their facilities, reported. Arab travelers, who used to spend $25 billion annually on tourism in Europe and the United States, have chosen to vacation closer to home since the September 11 attacks on the United States.
Arab countries have intensified their investments for improving local tourism infrastructure in order to draw outgoing Arab tourism back into domestic economies. Saudi vacationers alone spent more than $14 billion on tourism abroad last year. — (menareport.com)
