The Middle East packaging industry is recording double-digit annual growth, reported regional machinery and material supplier, Triveni Trading. According to the company, the trend is set to continue.
“The regional packaging industry is growing by between 25-30 percent a year,” said Managing Director of Triveni Trading, Ashok Galgotia. Triveni Trading, which has offices and showrooms throughout the Gulf, says the Middle East's packaging sector's future will be heavily reliant on automation as the industry looked to tighten its workforce.
“Since visa rules and local regulations in certain parts of the Middle East are becoming more stringent, the entire industry is looking to automation in the packaging and manufacturing sectors to reduce manpower,” explained Galgotia. — (menareport.com)
