The Microsoft-Arabia company forecasts a 19 percent profit rise in Saudi Arabia by the end of 2000, reported Al-Hayat newspaper. This optimistic prediction was made despite the high piracy ratio in this market, which is estimated at 65 percent.

The director general of the Microsoft-Arabia, Mohammed Khatib, who refrained from specifying the projected profit volume, said that his company is now focusing on investments in the governmental sector in general and in the educational sector in particular. ¯ (Albawaba-MEBG)
