According to Al-Yaum newspaper, Accor, the European leader and one of the world's largest groups in Hotels and Services, opened its first Mercure Grand Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain last month.
The new Mercure Grand Hotel Seef offers 72 single-bed room suites and 48 double-bed-room suites. All of the new hotel rooms have access to Internet. The hotel also offers various leisure and treatment facilities. There are washrooms for the disabled on the ground floor and two floors of underground parking beneath the 17 storey building.
The French hotel giant, Accor, has been making efforts recently to remarkably expand its operations in the Arabian Gulf region.
