In its continued support of the national Emiratization drive, Mashreqbank announced the launch of its third Al-Mashreq Al-Emarati program recently. The program aims to create specialized training opportunities for United Arab Emirates (UAE) Nationals in the banking sector.
Al-Mashreq Al-Emarati has recruited 12 UAE Nationals, offering them a career in the financial industry through this year’s fast-track management program. Undergoing intensive on-the-job assessment over the next 12 months, the trainees will be inducted in retail banking, commercial banking and treasury.
Mashreqbank CEO Abdul Aziz Al-Ghurair said “The objective is to train and develop individual skills to assist in entering the banking sector, leading to executive and officer positions within Mashreqbank. Following experiences of Al-Mashreq Al-Emarati scheme over the last two years, we are delighted to launch the third group of 12 trainees this year.”
One of the oldest banks in the UAE, Mashreqbank supports the national efforts to localize jobs, offering UAE Nationals various opportunities to pursue a career in the banking industry.
In addition to Al-Mashreq Al-Emarati, the bank has three other Emiratization programs; Al Tumooh Program, Mashreq Summer Learning and Al-Suood Work-placement program whereby the bank offers training opportunities in a variety of industries for different ages. — (menareport.com)
