Lufthansa has launched its new corporate program, designed specifically for businesses in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and Kuwait, which is available from May 2002.
The Lufthansa corporate program offers business passengers benefits such as special car hire rates both in the UAE and Germany and special hotel rates in the region and Europe, seat assignment at the time of reservation, assistance with German Transit Visa for those continuing with their flights beyond Frankfurt, fax check-in facility for all classes in the UAE, Oman and Kuwait and special lounge arrangements in Frankfurt.
Lufthansa flights flown from the UAE, Oman and Kuwait are operated with the Airbus A340 aircraft, with a 1-2-1 layout in the First Class. Lufthansa will increase its services between the UAE and Europe by introducing daily flights to Munich from October 2002.
Lufthansa operates over 44 flights a week out of the region through its Frankfurt and Munich hubs. Being a member of Star global airline alliance, allows the airline to offer 727 destinations in 127 countries. — (menareport.com)
