Logica has signed a multi–million dollar deal to upgrade Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC)’s existing short messaging services (SMS) infrastructure to meet the Gulf state's demand for improved mobile communications.
The upgraded SMS solution from Logica will deliver news services, games and other types of entertainment, on a reliable information technology (IT) platform offering future scalability. Corporate users in Kuwait will also now have direct marketing opportunities through MTC's upgraded SMS infrastructure.
Kuwait's Al-Khaldiya is acting as the key Logica partner as well as providing the hardware infrastructure for the MTC initiative. — (menareport.com)
