Libyan President Moamer Kadhafi met the chief of staff of the Algerian army, General Mohamed Lamari, in Tripoli Wednesday, Libyan state television reported.
They discussed "ways of further strengthening relations between the two countries in the interest of the Libyan and Algerian peoples," the television said.
Lamari gave Kadhafi a message from President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the television added, describing relations between the two as "excellent." -- TRIPOLI, (AFP)
