Global and regional digital leader, LG Electronics, which entered the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s GSM mobile market just six months ago, has stepped up its assault on the segment with the launch of a new model, which is retailing at one of the most competitively-priced on the market.

“We are targeting the B1200 specifically at the youth and price-sensitive segments,” explained Managing Director of LG Electronics Gulf, PC Choi. “It's competitively priced and its slim, compact design will, we are sure, find an enthusiastic following. It complements our existing GSM range which appeals to the higher-end of the market.”

The block-type dual-band B1200, which is made in Korea, is available in three color options – cobalt blue, titanium and red and has an LCD display screen. It is extremely compact, measuring just 100 x 45 x 19 millimeters and weighs in at just 80 grams. It comes complete with earphone, internal antenna, speaker phone, eight polyphonic ringer and has five distinctive ring sounds representing caller groups. — (menareport.com)
