Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics put its ‘Life’s Good’ motto into practise recently by sponsoring a celebration of the finest Urdu poetry in Riyadh.
Titled ‘LG Art Cool Mushaira’, the enjoyable poetry evening at Indian School Auditorium brought together top poets from the Deccan region of India and Saudi Arabia. More than 700 guests attended and the Indian ambassador His Excellency Kamal Uddin Ahmed was guest of honour.
A total of 25 poets took part, including internationally renowned personalities such as Himayat Ullah, Narinder Luther, Mohammed Niaz Ahmed, Mustafa Ali Baig, Rauf Rahim, Fareed Anjum, Talib Khondmeri and Ghous Khamkhwa.
