The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised citizens not to travel to Lebanon at this time due to current events and unstable security conditions.

Hamad Mohammad Al Junaibi, UAE’s Charge D’Affaires in Lebanon, urged Emiratis who are in Lebanon at present to leave the country immediately and to coordinate with the UAE embassy in Beirut to facilitate their departure.

He also called on UAE citizens in Lebanon to call 0096118570000 or to contact the operations department at the ministry on 02 4449600, and advised citizens to comply with this warning until further notice and to be cautious when travelling outside the country.

Citizens travelling abroad were also advised to read the travel advice page at the ministry’s website and to enrol in the Tawjdi (my whereabouts) service program.
