SGBL Chairman Antoine Sehnaoui praised the Middle East Airlines for its dynamism and continuous growth by providing high-end services. “MEA is bolstering the image of Lebanon all over the world by providing high end services,” he said at the signing of an agreement with the company to finance it with a new Airbus A330-243. The new financing comes within the framework of the bank’s contributions to the expansion of Lebanese companies and local economy. “SGBL is committed to contributing to the growth of economic activities in Lebanon,” he said.
“We have financed the MEA with this new Airbus to confirm our continuous support to the local economy and the growth of our country,” he added.
The new airplane, which was received by the MEA in 2016, comprises 244 seats including 44 seats for the business class and 200 for the economy class in addition to a high end entertainment system to ensure the satisfaction of the traveler.
MEA Chairman Mohamad al-Hout announced previously that the Middle East Airlines is negotiating the acquisition of four additional wide-body aircrafts to beef up its current fleet.
