Lebanese department store ABC will complete its $130 million shopping complex in Ashrafieh by August 2003. The new mall, financed by Lebanese, Saudi and Kuwaiti investors, will comprise of eight cinema screens and one hundred retail shops, making it one of the largest malls in the Middle East.
Established in 1936, ABC operates seven department store branches throughout Lebanon and attracts over three million shoppers per year. It is currently reviewing applications from international retailers wishing to lease the mall’s 6,000 square meter central-store front. — (menareport.com)
