The recent boom in Dubai's financial and economic sectors has prompted a number of leading names in the head-hunting industry to open local branches in the United Arab Emirates, an industry expert was quoted as saying by Khaleej Times.
Prominent US firms such as Korn Ferry or Egon Zender have now opened offices in Dubai to better serve the growing market, said Nidal Agha, Director of Macssearch, a Dubai-based head-hunting firm. Head-hunting, according to him, focuses on finding suitable candidates for senior executive positions with salaries above $350,000. The firm usually charges 33 per cent of the selected candidate's salary.
