A group of Umm Al-Qura University students are finding themselves homeless, as landlords who see financial opportunities in kicking them out to make room for rent-paying Haj pilgrims, Asharq Al-Awsat daily reported Monday.

The students are all foreign. Housing in Mecca has essentially been unattainable in the short term due to the Haj, the report added.
