Land transactions in Dubai top Dh753.42 millions

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs753.42 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs564 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs189.29 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 61 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Khawaneej Second that was sold for Dhs37.85855 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Jabal Ali Industrial acquired for the sum of Dhs33.8946 million and another in Um Ramool for Dhs33.333333 million active in terms of the week's sales, with some 6 transactions. Jabal Ali Industrial followed it with 5 sales.

 

Industrial recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs114.7 million, followed by the Al Khawaneej Second area, Dhs37.86 million, and Um Ramool area, Dhs33.33 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 803491 sq ft in the Um Ramool area, which went for Dhs33.33 million. A 757171 sq ft plot in the Al Khawaneej Second Area was acquired for Dhs37.86 million, while 307093 sq ft of Wadi Al Amardi was disposed of for Dhs15.35 million.

 

During the period under review 20 mortgages worth Dhs178.74 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs61 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs35.16 million on an area in Al Karama.
