Land transactions in Dubai hit Dhs95.40 million

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday peaked at Dhs95.40  million, of which sales exceeded Dhs42 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs53.6 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 8 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Nahda First that was sold for Dhs17.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Mararr acquired for the sum of Dhs7.5 million and another in Margham for Dhs5.2 million.

 

The Abu Hail area was the most active in terms of the day sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Mararr followed it with one sale.

 

During  the period, Al Nahda First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs17.5 million, followed by the Al Mararr area, Dhs7.5 million, and Margham area, Dhs5.2 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 592232 sq ft in the Margham area, which went for Dhs5.2 million. A 25000 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda First Area was acquired for Dhs17.5 million, while 14868 sq ft of Mirdif was disposed of for Dhs3.61 million.

 

During the period under review 2 mortgages worth Dhs53.6 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs50 million for an area at Emirates Hills Second. There was another for Dhs3.6 million on an area in Mirdif and a further sum of Dhs0 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Nahda Second.
