Lack of foreign currencies in Egypt due to September 11 attacks

The Egyptian Economic and Financial Commission of the Advisory Council attributed the country’s lack of foreign currency reserves to the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States, reported Al-Hayat . After the attacks Egypt incurred tangible losses in the tourism and oil sectors as well as a drop in Suez Canal and airline company revenues. — (menareport.com)
