Kuwaiti real estate companies to partake in Cityscape 2005

Kuwaiti real estate companies are expected to participate in Cityscape 2005 - The 4th International Property Investment & Development Event, which will be
held in Dubai on September 17-19, reported the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas on September 6. The company which organized the event said that there are many opportunities for development and investments in Kuwait's real estate market since, according to the governmental development plan, the private sector could invest about $3.3 billion in the construction of 20 hotel projects in the island of Failaka, a 43 square kilometers island, which is located 20 Km north east of Kuwait.


Among the Kuwaiti companies which will take part in the exhibition is the Commercial Real Estate Company (CRC), which will offer 3 real estate projects in it: the Dome (Al-Qubba) Project which is an entertainment project, the Symphony Project, which includes a large hotel, offices, houses and markets, and Kuwait Commercial Project, which includes 41 floors and commercial center in Al-Sur Street in the city of Kuwait.


Mas International Company will offer in the exhibition its most elegant project, Zamzam for Hotel Suites, which is currently being constructed in the heart of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The project includes 31 floors and a commercial center and will be managed by Accor hotels group. It is expected to be finished in 2006.


Al-Mazaya Real Estate will also offer several of its real estate projects in the exhibition, including residential and commercial projects, which are currently being built in Dubai and in Kuwait.


It should be mentioned that Cityscape 2005 will be held in Dubai international Exhibition Centre on a 10,000 square meters area, which represents 150% growth compared to the previous year. Over 300 companies from more than 50 countries have confirmed their participation in this exhibition.
