A National Assembly debate in Kuwait focused, on Tuesday, on amending some state housing laws to pave the way for the private sector to help in the contruction process of some state-owned vacant land. However, because of lack of quorum, neither the housing law nor its amendments were passed on the National Assembly floor, Kuna reported.
National assembly speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi said that the issue would be put to the vote once again on Wednesday.
