Kuwaiti oil and non-oil exports during the second quarter of this year posted their highest level in the past decade. In the second quarter of 2004, the total export value amounted to KD 1.763 billion, say an increase of 5 percent compared to the first quarter of the year.
Oil exports accounted for the biggest share of these exports with 91.4 percent of the total exports during this period, KUNA reported.
As for the first half of 2004, the total value of both oil and non-oil Kuwaiti exports reached KD 3.44 billion ($11.5 billion). (menareport.com)
