Kuwaiti center for humanitarian operations active in Iraq

The president of the Kuwaiti center for humanitarian operations, Ali Mohammad Almo’emein has confirmed that the center has provided valuable assistance to many countries and on of the top of them is neighboring Iraq. He disclosed that the center implemented in 2003 various projects in Iraq with a total value of US$402 million.

 

Currently , as <i>Alraiamam</i> newspaper mentioned, the center is taking part in the third stage of the reconstruction of Iraq by offering important services such as generating energy, water purifications, medical services by repairing hospitals and providing them with medicines, and offering assistance in university education.In 2004, Almo’emein disclosed that the center has provided assistance with the value of US$52,471,959 million for the government and the people of Iraq.For the future, the center has allocated US$100 million for health and education projects. He also said that the center plans to construct housing complexes in Najaf.
