Kuwait has reported a preliminary budget surplus of KD5.6 billion ($19.15bn) in the first nine months of this fiscal year, the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) disclosed in a latest report.
Interim figures for Kuwait's budget from the finance ministry for the first nine months of fiscal year 2005-2006 indicate a sizeable rise in revenues accompanied by a moderate growth in expenditures, NBK stated.
Total revenues went up by 53 per cent compared to the same period last year, the bank reported.
