Kuwait registered record 12.4 billion dinars ($42.6bn) revenues in the first 11 months of the fiscal year ending this week, the Kuwaiti finance ministry has stated.
The revenues, the largest in Kuwait's history, are 56 per cent higher compared to the $27.4bn posted in the year-earlier period. According to figures published on the ministry's website, oil earnings went up to $40.4bn, up 60pc on last year and more than threefold the budget estimate of $13.3bn.
