The general manger of the Kuwaiti Public Authority for Housing Care, Ali Al-Fawzan, said that there are no financial, administrative or legal obstacles which can hinder the accomplishment of the program for construction of 70,000 housing units equipped with all the services until the end of 2011, reported the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, on October 11.
Al-Fawzan was speaking with the press at the margin of his opening of Ramadan Real Estate Exhibition on Sunday. The exhibition was organized by Al-Masar Company, which has recently been awarded the ISO 9001/2000 certificate.
The exhibition was held in Raya Hall in Court Yard Marriott Hotel on October 9-13 with the participation of 25 companies.
Al-Fawzan added that the Authority's program will handle the housing requests, and thus just 1,900 requests would be left for future treatment. He added that the Authority will encourage the private sector to play a large role in construction and supplying of the housing units.
