Kuwait: New company to develop Boubyan Island

Kuwait's Finance Minister Bader Al-Humaidhi on Monday announced that three new companies, worth a total of KD 2.7 billion, would be created, Kuna reported. The first public company, worth KD 1.2 billion, is aimed at the development of the Boubyan Island through improving the soil and promote construction on the island.

 

In fact, Kuwait has already started to build the Boubyan Islan bridge and basic roads and infrastructure. The plan is to develop Boubyan island into a commercial seaport.
