Kuwait issues construction tenders

Kuwaiti Public Authority for Housing Care has announced it had issued two tenders for local contracting companies for the accomplishment of several public buildings in south of Jahra' Project (Kazema), reported the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Watan, on October 16.

 

The first tender includes construction, accomplishment and maintenance of a local mosque and house for the mosque's Imam (prayer leader) in plot 1, a kindergarten, an elementary school for boys, a junior high school for boys, a local mosque and house for its prayer leader in plot 2, in addition to a kindergarten, a local mosque with a prayer leader's house in plot 3 and a local mosque with a prayer leader's house in plot 4, all of them in Al-Jahra' South Residential Project.

 

As for the second tender, it includes construction, accomplishment and maintenance of a kindergarten, an elementary school for girls, a high school for boys, a local mosque of type 7 with a prayer leader's house and a gas branch in plot 6. It includes also construction of a local mosque of type 7 and a prayer leader's house in plot 5 in Al-Jahra' South Residential Project.

 

The company has also offered a tender for construction, accomplishment and maintenance of a kindergarten in plot 1 and a local mosque and prayer leader's house in plot 3 in Al-Qayrwan Residential Project (formerly south Doha).

 

Companies interested in participating in these tenders should apply to the main office of the Public Authority for Housing Care for receiving the tenders' terms on a CD, after providing a certificate of registration from the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the company's establishment contract.

 

The last date for submitting the bids is Monday, November 21, 2005.
