Kuwait Airways (KAC) is partially resuming its operations after the Iraq crisis. With the decision of KAC Management to increase its flights, the airline now flies five weekly flights to London, three weekly flights to Delhi, four weekly flights to Riyadh and three weekly flights to Jeddah.

Kuwait Airways also resumed its flights to Assuit, Chennai, Amman, Beirut, and Damascus. Effective 13 April 2003, KAC Director of Public Relations and Information, Adel Mohammad Boresly, revealed that KAC has decided to increase its flights on a number of routes and also increase the capacity for some of the routes. The new changes have come about further to studying and evaluating the previous schedule and in the light of the shift in the travel demand as well as the rush in air travel on some of the routes.

Boresly pointed out that the new schedule is effective from April 13 until April 26. During that period, flight operations and the requirement of the travel market will be evaluated. This evaluation is essential for KAC to gradually get back to its full operation. — (menareport.com)
