Bates PanGulf and 141 PanGulf Kuwait have been selected by the Kuwaiti Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) to handle all of its domestic and international marketing-communications requirements. The agency will lead all communications for the company beginning in August 2002. Established in 1983, MTC is the service provider of GSM voice and data transmission in Kuwait.
“This mutual relationship of bringing together Bates and 141—two worldwide advertising and marketing services companies—and MTC is a remarkable starting point towards developing stronger, informative advertising to keep our valued customers up to date with all our product and service launches and to benefit from the Agency’s expertise, both locally and internationally,” MTC Marketing Manager Sheikh Hamad Nasser Al-Ali Al-Sabah, commented.
Bates PanGulf and 141 PanGulf (Kuwait) are both subsidiaries of Bates Worldwide and 141 Worldwide, respectively, and part of Cordiant, the world's eighth largest global marketing communications group. The Kuwait office is one of a number of Bates’ operations in the Middle East. The company has other offices in Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus and Dubai.
