The Korean premier, who was welcomed by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman Nakheel, and James Wilson, Chief Executive Officer Nakheel, was briefed on the company’s portfolio of prestigious projects and shown around models of the company's on-going developments such as The Palm, The World, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Jumeirah Lake Towers. This was followed by a boat trip touring The Palm, Jumeirah.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said, “We are honored by the visit of the Korean Prime Minister to our sales office. Lee Hae-chan showed a keen interest and was impressed by the ambition of Nakheel's landmarks projects. The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation when he learnt of the scale and uniqueness of our developments such as the Dubai Waterfront, The Palms and The World – and was even more impressed when he got to see The Palm close up on a boat tour of the project.
“The visit by the Korean premier to Dubai will go a long way in strengthening the economic ties between the UAE and Korea and promote two-way tourism between the countries. We are pleased that the Prime Minister was so positive about the developments, and acknowledged Nakheel’s contribution to the thriving real estate market in Dubai.”
