Knowledge Village, Dubai's regional Online Community Learning Provider and Emirates Parent, the United Arab Emirate (UAE)'s first parenting focused magazine, team up with Dubai Internet City and Future Kids Computer Learning Centers to present Internet Training Sessions for children to promote safe and rewarding internet experiences.
Internet4Kids, an initiative of Emirates Parent Magazine and hosted by Knowledge Village, will be a series of events held at Dubai Internet City. This event aims at combining the basics of the Internet with hands-on demonstrations.
Participants will learn the basics of the Internet and how to find good quality "content". These are the tools that promote a safe and rewarding online experience. Tips will be offered for Internet use and ways to safely navigate around the Internet. Children will then be ready to comfortably explore a wide variety of fun and educational world wide web sites having to do with sports, news, education, games, travel and entertainment. — (menareport.com)
