Jordan's King Abdullah inaugurated Saturday, March31, in the Dead Sea resort of Zara a two-day conference on reforms in Jordan.
Some 300 foreign and Jordanian experts from the public and private sector, including all of the kingdom's ministers, were gathered in a hotel to discuss Jordan's need for reforms in the sectors of agriculture, local development, social values, administration, investment and human potential.
In a short opening speech, Abdullah called on the participants to "find the right mechanism to solve the problems" which are slowing down Jordan's development. — (AFP, Zara)
