Kanoo Travel and American Express have entered into a franchise relationship to develop the corporate and leisure travel market in the Middle East. Under the arrangement, Kanoo Travel will work to grow the American Express Travel Service Network throughout the Middle East by identifying and acquiring like-minded member agencies into the Kanoo Travel/American Express Middle East Franchise program.
Kanoo Travel will deliver resources to help travel agencies further grow their businesses. In addition to the marketing advantages of affiliation with the franchise program, member agencies will have access to enhanced products, training, quality programs, and business best practices. American Express currently has 20 Travel Network locations in nine countries in the Middle East. Kanoo Travel has recently signed a joint venture agreement with American Express in Egypt to operate a full service corporate and leisure travel operation under the American Express brand there.
