Jordan's revenues of potash exports during the first third of this year amounted to JD122.3 million, up 26 percent over the same period in 2009. According to official data, the increase was a result of a 126 percent rise in the volume exported by Jordan despite lower prices of potash (44.4 percent.)
India, Malaysia and Indonesia accounted for 56.4 percent of Jordan's total exports of potash.
Potash is the third largest export item by Jordan after garments and vegetables.
