Madaen Al Nour Real Estate Company and Abdali Investment and Development PSC signed recently an agreement to invest and develop a segment in the Abdali urban regeneration project. The signing took place on the 8th February, between Mr. Ahmad Armoush, Chairman of Madaen Al Nour and Mr. Jamal Itani, General Manager, Abdali PSC; with the attendance of Mr. Saeed Suleiman, Vice Chairman of Madaen Al Nour and fellow Board Member Mr. Kamal Awamleh.
The Abdali area, which was once the centre of the Armed Forces and Security Department, is being given a new lease on life through the huge redevelopment process. It will soon be home to residential and commercial buildings, shopping areas, entertainment and health facilities as well as the American University of Jordan and all will be equipped with the best communications and IT technologies.
"We are pleased to welcome Madaen Al Nour as investors and partners in this unique development of the new down town of Amman; as they possess the capability, skill and expertise needed to seize this opportunity and carry out construction to the highest standards to meet Abdali’s master plan requirements," said Mr. Jamal Itani, General Manager of Abdali Investment and Development PSC. Further adding, "The Abdali Project will actively benefit and enhance the overall Jordanian economy, through the various parties involved from government, contractors, to individuals, in addition to the overall gain to community and the various sectors engaged in the project."
Mr. Ahmad Armoush said: "This agreement with Abdali Investment and Development is the direct result of the efforts made to realize His Majesty King Abdullah II vision to enhance Jordan’s economy and improve the life of its citizens". He added: "These are truly momentous times for us where we can actively participate in this project that will benefit the whole of Jordanian society".
Madaen Al Nour Investment and Real Estate Development was established in 2005, and is part of Al Salam Group for Trade and Transportation. Madaen Al Nour is now implementing a number of real estate projects (residential, commercial, tourism, and entertainment) around the Kingdom to satisfy the needs of the Jordanian community.
