Jordan and Kuwait have concluded an agreement to settle $50 million of Jordan's debts to Kuwait, Petra reported. According to the agreement, Jordan has to pay part of the debt immediately, and to reschedule the remaining amount for 15 years.
The two sides refused to elaborate on how the agreement would be implemented nor how much money would be paid immediately.
Jordanian debts to Kuwait stood at US$770 million, making 10.5 per cent of total Jordanian external debts. (menareport.com)
