Eight memoranda of understanding (MOUs) on economic, cultural, and anti-narcotic fields were signed between Iran and Jordan on Monday evening at Tehran's Sa'd Abad palace.
According to IRNA, the MOUs were signed by Iran's First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref and Jordan's visiting Prime Minister Faisel al-Fayez.
Among the MOUs signed between the two sides, there was the executive plan for cooperation between Iran's Export Promotion Center (EPC) and Jordan's Export Promotion and Development of Commercial Centers Organization (EPDCCO).
Also the MOU of the eighth joint economic conference of Iran and Jordan was signed during the ceremony by Iran's Housing and Urban Development Minister Ali Abdolalizadeh and Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mines and Commerce Muhammed al-Ha layeqeh.
Jordan's Prime Minister Faisal al-Fayez arrived in Tehran on Monday for a three-day official visit to discuss avenues for consolidating Tehran-Amman ties. (menareport.com)
