According to Al-Hayat newspaper (March 10, 2002) representatives from a group of Japanese private companies specializing in the water sector are started a four-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 10.
The visit was organized by the Japanese Cooperation Center in the Middle East and the Water Recycling Development Center. Meeting with Saudi officials and private companies, the Japanese guests will discuss future Saudi initiatives for the water sector. In addition, the Japanese companies will discuss Saudi privatization schemes for water desalinization in the Kingdom. — (menareport.com)
