The Middle East has seen a steadily growing influx of residents from Japan in the last 15 years. There are currently more than 2,500 registered Japanese Nationals living and working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries alone, of which over a third are resident in Dubai, reported Ritz-Carlton Dubai.
Japanese companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) number 133 and are rising steadily. Emirates Airline currently operates four flights weekly between Dubai and Osaka, and major travel agencies report an increased flow of Japanese visitors through their doors every day. — (menareport.com)
