E-enabler Itqan, has partnered with Emirates Intellectual Embryo (EIE) to offer clients its PreWorX solution. The server-based Virtual Service Provider (VSP) management and diagnostic utility delivers significant benefits in pre-boot and post boot remote control, backup and recovery, IT asset management and software distribution.

PreWorX manages network nodes throughout an organization, giving a complete breakdown of hardware, software and machine identification. Actions can be scheduled, ranging from basic health diagnosis to software updates, ensuring substantial cost savings.

Conducting an IT audit over a large network can be time consuming, for mid to large size organizations, but with this application, it can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. Additional features allow IT managers to set service levels for software and control software downloads and which software runs on a specific client or range of clients. Software updates and patches can also be pushed through the server using the utility, direct to each client that it applies to, making this process much quicker than by conventional means.

Established in 1984, Itqan provides e-government, e-medical, e-security, imaging and document capture solutions and specializes in collaborative knowledge management systems that enable companies to share and use information and ideas internally. — (menareport.com)
